 Our Mission…
4Epilepsy serves the population of children and young adults living with epilepsy as a primary diagnosis. 
We seek to:
Improve the lives of these and their caregivers living in southern NJ and eastern PA. 
Provide a network of support and resources for anyone living with epilepsy, regardless of their age.
Educate those working with children in an effort to make community programs more accessible to those with epilepsy.
Create public awareness of epilepsy within the communities it serves.
4Epilepsy will not tolerate discrimination of any form.

 

 

The 4Epilepsy impact statement can be summed up with the 4 Es:

Creating opportunities and connecting people to improve the quality of life

Empower
Supporting and strengthing individuals while helping them to integrate with community activities for children

Providing education and training to promote an understanding of epilepsy and the many people it affects

  There are a variety of ways that 4Epilepsy provides support to the children, young adults, & their families affected by epilepsy.

 

  • Scholarships for higher education

    Camperships for overnight camps designed specifically for children with epilepsy
  • Free medical identification bracelets distributed by area specialists
  • Community awareness and training opportunities
  • Incentives to participate in communitysports programs
  • Financial contributions to offset ancillary expenses
  • Monthly support group meetings
